Princess vs. Queen
I was just chatting with a mentor that I deeply respect, adore and look up to. She keeps things real and never holds back when I need someone to “set me in my place.” She also tells me how fabulous I am when I need a little bit of a pick-me-up.
I was just letting her know that I think I’ve graduated from being a princess to a queen. She approved and distilled the difference between the two. I strongly concur.

- she calls the shots
- people respect her
- she’s a woman
- princess, on the other hand, is a girl and can easily be manipulated
